My Life Now

After being on my diet and supplement program for a few weeks, my Meniere's symptoms, panic attacks, and most of my other symptoms began to fade; although I did have set backs from time to time.

I have been on my program since August 1995, and I'm happy to say, I feel normal. Generally, I'm not dizzy at all. I do get slightly dizzy and my ears ring a little when I cheat too much on my diet, don't take my supplements like I'm supposed to, or eat to much salt. I also tend to get a little dizzy when the air quality is poor. Poor air quality is caused by pollution trapped by stagnant air (which tends to occur on still, muggy summer days), oxygenated gasoline (used during the winter months), and during bad allergy seasons. Sometimes when I'm coming down with a cold, I get dizzy for a day or so.

When I do get dizzy, its usually so minor that I forget about it, especially if I'm active. When I'm getting a cold the dizziness worsens, but its still nothing compared to how dizzy I used to be and is only really a temporary annoyance.

Since my first attack years ago, my innate balance ability has declined. I used to have exceptional balance and was able to run while holding a full cup of water without spilling a drop. Today, even when I don't feel dizzy, walking with an 80% full glass without it sloshing and splashing requires some care. This means that I have lost a significant amount of my balance and permanent damage has been done. Even with this, I still consider myself very lucky to be able to live a normal life again. I just avoid serving people drinks at parties.
